Better quality of life for patients with Diabetis

“DIABETEC - a step forward” is an innovative concept especially conceived for the care of health to the patient with diabetis. It gives the patient different possibilities of prophylaxes and therapies for different lesions of the foot.

Until today, the problem encountered by doctors and the orthopedic shoe maker did not give them effectiveness and control.

The concept of DIABETEC soles gives a method of taking care of the patient, by a definite treatment on biomechanical foundation, assessing sole pressures and giving a suppleness augmented in the zones of the different sole hyper-pressures, which reduce functions of the foot. We acquire a definite monitoring of the evolution of illness and adaptation of the orthesis.

This DIABETEC concept is in constant evolution, a result of constant researches, established through several years, by Professor Bauman of the institute of biomechanics DSHS of Cologne, as well as research done by different clinical and hospital teams.

 

The Diabetec Concept is defined in three stages :

1. 1) Analysis of dynamic sole pressures.
2. 2) Individual manufacturing by CAD/CAM, of soles made of foam and other scientifically tested materials
3. 3) Quality management according to DIN and ISO9001 and regulation laws in the medical articles and 46001.

The individual soles in "soft foam" DIABETEC are adapted as well to footwear for patiets with diabetis and can also be made to measure.
